Patient information:
o 67 year old male
o Despite of high age client hated “kojak lollipop” appearance and decided to have a HR done.
o NW Class VI
o Recipient density ave: 11 FU/cm2
o Donor Density: 60 FU/cm2
o Donor hair / follicle ave: 2,3
o Hair Diameter: 80 Microns

Treatment plan:
o 3600 FUE
o Diffuse spread of the FUE’s across the frontal and mid scalp areas
o Low Density 25 – 30 FUE/cm2 planned to blend in with existing low density counts of the donor area
o Total area requested would need 4600+ FUE divided in 2 procedures
o Advised to do first phase treatment, wait 1-2 years and if still want can do additional treatment

Procedure Performed:
o Follicular Unit Extraction – donor hair from back and sides of head and balancing contrasting high density lateral hump on the temporal fringe on both sides
o 3646 FUE harvested
o Single procedure on same day completed
o Frontal and mid scalp areas done with seeding into the superior vertex area
o 409 Single hair FUE
o 2712 Double hair FUE
o 525 Triple hair FUE

Imaging detail
o Before Photos taken on the day of the procedure clearly displaying the area of harvesting.
o Age of client determine the level of harvesting outside the “safe zone”- patient 67 yrs old with established MPB and unlikely further thinning into the donor area
o After Photos taken after 9 months 2 weeks displaying acceptable cosmetic appearance and achievement despite of relative low density /cm2 FUE
o Full effect of Hair Restoration not yet reached - await 18 months imaging for full results.
