BEAU VISAGE - SKIN CONSULTATION

The Beau Visage Ultimate Skin Consultation system is an advanced Diagnostic tool used by Doctors to identify and diagnose a wide range of active and developing skin diseases. The sciascopy technology was originally developed to identify and track down developing skin malignancies such as malignant Melanomas, which many a time are invisible to the human eye. The Beau Visage takes images of the face and scans the full thickness of the skin and 2 mm under the skin, revealing true realities and facts.

In this way can we clearly identify and predict the result of sun damage, environmental damage and skin conditions on the quality and health of your skin.The value of such a recording (Medical Record) in time is invaluable to any person. It acts as a measuring tool for future developing diseases of the face and skin and becomes a powerful tool to measure the success of treatments such as laser and chemical / skin care products and medical treatments. The system allows a time-line comparison between follow-up treatments and indicate true reaction in the skin. This is measured by the improvement of the disease or condition and comparing the result to a database of thousands of your peergroup. Your true skin age can in this way be very accurately established in a scientific way.

Only the specially trained Doctors in the Arte Novi Clinic are interpreting and diagnosing the scans taken. Blood chromaphore assessment: Your blood chromophore assessment highlights the areas of concerns in your skin and reflects and confirms the issues highlighted earlier in this report. Of note is the clear detection and illustration of the perforating blood vessels (main supply vessels) supplying the more superficial capillary and blood vessel system. This is of great help to me to plan and perform your Laser treatment - by destructing the perforators we can achieve far better results with less impulse of treatment.

Melanin chromaphore assessment: What is also very clear is that you present with areas of Hyperpigmented (darkened skin areas caused by increase in pigment, melanin in the skin.) area across the forehead / bridge of the nose radiating over the cheeks / Temporal area / Balding area of the Forehead./ Cheeks/ Jawline. This is most evident right between the eyes as well as on both inner cantus (between the eyes) areas and the cheek areas - sun-exposed areas. What makes this more pronounced is the contrast created between the depigmented / normal skin and the hyperpigmented areas. The hyperpigmented areas could possibly have occurred as a complication of hyperpigmentation secondary to sun exposure, chemical irritation - skin product/ chemical pollution/ medication / hormonal changes and even hereditary factors).
